This song would have been perfect for Nightmare Before Christmas.

1:48 is the best part to me no question!!!!!!!!

I'm suddenly seeing christmas very differently now... very differently!!!

if you listen to lots of music it should be fairly easy to distinguish them. slipknot, korn, red hot chilly peppers, metallica and system of a down have very distinct sounds and you cannot mistaken them for any other band.but thats just my opinion

yeah bands like slipknot, red hot chilli peppers, korn, metallica, system of a down have their own distinct sound

So I see.. interesting.
Well I guess that's one of the facts we should know and understand when it comes to recognizing whose music/sounds that were made by who.

i dont play any instruments myself but i recognize korn's style.they pioneered the use of downtuned 7 string guitars.about the drums, yes many bands use the same sound but i dont know......ive heard lots of bands and only korn hit them so hard.the rest use blast beats or different drums.

Well, you're totally right.
Yup, the sound of the drums can be made by any bands; since it did sounded familiar as I heard from other bands, but what makes it them different is the sound of guitars and basses.
KoRn's style basically is "awkward" and "odd", but also unique. That's all what I can say bout them.
I dunno bout musical instruments that much, since I don't play them.
I'm a music lover, tho not a musician or music producer.

any real korn fan can tell it's them, even though the sound is not as familiar as in any of their other songs.it's death metal and noone can deny that, but as you said for any korn fan there are lots of familiar sounds, even the drums at the beginning and the downtuned 7-string
