A beautiful example! 7 litres converts to 428 c.i., 345 horsepower. The paint appears black but it is actually a dark green. The upholstery is two tone, and is like new! What a great car!!

  • @ashqelonsunset I'll agree to that...these cars had real class! It's great that you had two! Thanks! :) Jack

  • @ashqelonsunset Now if you're talking about the wax products available in 1966, I would agree...but the car care products available now are much easier to use, and in my book, much longer lasting. Thanks! :) Jack

  • @MrJohninphx Hey, John! It sure makes you wonder! It's so sad to see cars with real potential go to the crusher...and for little or no money! That person probably didn't realize what he had...just thought of it as a disposable car. What a shame! Thanks! :) Jack

  • Give me a 1970 LTD XL with the 429 any day of the week. Convertible or the hardtop 2 door with that lovely roofline that flows down to the back end. Of course it must have all the accesories and the console between the front high back bucket seats. My neighbor had one that he wrecked and I begged him to sell me the car in 1976, but he sold it to a junkyard for 200 dollars. All it needed was a front clip. What a fool. I still think about that car & it was fully loaded w/ a sunroof.

  • @rogerbahakel Hey, Roger! There are subtle differences..the 66 has squarish tailights and a horizontally divided grille with prominent parking lights at the ends.....the 65 tailight appears taller and appears to have a one piece grille. Thanks! :) Jack

  • now i can tell the difference between the 65 and66 models
