"Lately" -Derek Everett Cover

I remember the first time I watched Derek's original video of "Lately" over a year ago. I was hooked immediately. I wanted to cover the song right away but their were several excellent covers that came out at that time. I started playing it this past spring at some small venues. It took me a long time to express the feeling in that original video. I hope I've captured the honesty of Derek's original version

Fantastic version Mr 8th. I really love your voice on this - seems like less reverb than some of your other stuff. You have a great voice, so don't drown it in reverb.

This song of Derek's really is a classic and you did a really good job with it.

Thanks Jock! I finally broke into my piggy bank and bought a small preamp and an interface. I was using a stage amp and a computer mic and the sound was all over the place. I agree with you sometimes the reverb just got crazy! The pics are a combination, some from the net and some from a recent trip to NYC. Thanks again and I hope things are good with you too.
