Pius XII: Benedictio Apostolica Urbi et Orbi

Pope Pius XII on the day of his Coronation to the Supreme Roman Papacy - the 12th of March, 1939 - he issued the following plenary indulgence to all Catholics Benedictio Apostolica Urbi et Orbi:

Sancti Apostoli Petrus et Paulus: de quoroum potestate et auctoritate confidimus ipsi intercedant pro nobis ad Dominum.

R) Amen.

Precibus et meritis beatæ Mariae semper Virginis, beati Michaelis Archangeli, beati Ioannis Baptistæ, et sanctorum Apostolorum Petri et Pauli et omnium Sanctorum misereatur vestri omnipotens Deus; et dimissis omnibus peccatis vestris, perducat vos Iesus Christus ad vitam æternam.

R) Amen.

Indulgentiam, absolutionem et remissionem omnium peccatorum vestrorum, spatium verae et fructuosae poenitentiæ, cor semper penitens, et emendationem vitae, gratiam et consolationem Sancti Spiritus; et finalem perseverantiam in bonis operibus tribuat vobis omnipotens et misericors Dominus.

Et benedictio Dei omnipotentis, Pa + tris et Fi + lii et Spiritus + Sancti descendat super vos et maneat semper.

@ndw444 No it is official Catholic teaching. Non catholics are damned regardless of how kind they are because they are not Catholic. "Finally, some of these misguided people attempt to persuade themselves and others that men are not saved only in the Catholic religion, but even heretics may have eternal life." Pope Gregory XVI said in his encyclical Mirari Vos. Many other Popes could be quoted. You are simply not Catholic.

@voltape A good example is the dogma "No salvation outside the church." The Catholic Church explicitly says that non Catholics don't go to Heaven and that non Catholics are damned. Vatican II turns that around and says all religions are good and equal, and it doesn't matter what religion you profess as long as your "nice." That is heresy. Pope Eugenius IV said "outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. Not only pagans, but also Jews heretics and schismatics do not share in eteranl life.

@voltape It's not so much the Vatican II antipopes left Tradition, its the fact they left the faith entirely. They preach new things that are incompatible with Catholic teaching. This is why Sedevacantists don't accept the post Vatican II antipopes, because they teach heresy. @iglesiacatholica Yes, I have read plenty. Problem with Sedevacantists is that John XXIII brought the Church up to date, and traditionalists can't accept it. So it's easier to say all following popes are false. The Church has to address the problems of each era with the mentality of its flock.  Jesus said I'll be with you until the end of time. Gates of hell won't prevail. According to you, we've been without pope for half a century, so? hell prevailed?
