@missmarinaa17 So you have no pride at all in your home, or their your, or your heroes? No country is perfect, but America lost a lot of dudes, and given their intervention, as tragically late as it was, it probably saved the world from a darker future.

In a school, no teacher should be slagging off an entire country. Every nation has done some good, and it's fair to have a little pride in that. If that's lost on you, then maybe you would prefer it if France was blown up by the Germans.

With all due respect to those who disliked the flag scene, it was not created simply to promote America. The flag represents freedom and sacrifice (red strips=bloodshed) to American soldiers, so the scene was really meant to represent the triumph of freedom after all that transpired in the film.

And that's the Arlington Grave site which is where all the most important and honorable AMERICAN soldiers are buried, oh wait, and it's located in AMERICA.
