hello. i was wondering what is the reason you have sand substrate in front of the sand. It makes it look a bit unnatural. Overall beautiful tank!!

@apham21 that creates contrast and the feeling of depth. It's just a personal preference, that's all.

Hi Jcgobee,
I was wondering, how are the fish getting oxygen? Is the surface disruption from the outflow enough to put oxygen in the water?

@lavendersfields123 The plants take in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen for the fauna, during the photoperiod. I lift up the outflow pipe a little bit away from the water surface, for aeration purpose at night.
