When I did not get cable in my room I would watch WMAR for news,shows and cartoons.

Yeah,your right.
Despite the fact that i support WMAR-TV finding its way back to NBC,the peacock network seems happy with WBAL IMO.Because of that,ABC's deal with Scripps,and CBS owning WJZ,i can't see any network switches involving the Big 3.
