Keith Craft 427 small block with 638 HP/610 Tork at the crank and 465 HP at the wheels......After doing this dyno pull we determined the single stage clutch was slipping and just not enough to hold the HP/Tork of the engine plus the normal drive train loss. We determined with a dual stage clutch it should be over 500 plus. I sold the car a couple years ago and the new owner since has put a dual stage clutch in it. There actually a video of that car starting a race in Mexico on YouTube.
That's not 638 at the crank. My SPF had 550 at the crank and made 440 at the wheels. Pretty consistant for parasitic loss on a SPF

Actually it was 638 HP at the crank built and dynoed by Keith Craft Racing. After we did they chassis dyno pulls we found out the single stage clutch was slipping. The best we finally got that day was 463 HP but Keith agreed a dual stage clutch should take it over 500 hp. I sold the car a couple years ago but thought the dyno pull sounded pretty good anyway.
