It's half in Charlotte NC and half in Rock Hill SC. I live in Spartanburg SC which i like a hour away.

Actually the majority of Carowinds is in Charlotte, NC (directly acroos the North/South Carolina border). Although another part of Carowinds is in South Carolina. So the whole Theme park is border-lined. That's why they call it "Caro"-Winds (The "Caro"linas)

this theme park is actually in Fort Mill, SC. This is the only theme park in the world to be in two states at the same time. I used to work there :)
