A project for Documentary Film and Television (DFT) in the spirit of Dzega Vertov' - "Man with a Movie Camera".
Filmed in Newport, South Wales; this film captures a portrait of the town and its people in their everyday lives.
Filmed over two days by myself and Matt Lee, we learned alot about the importance of using a tripod from our mistakes on the first day and took notes of potential ideas to film on the second day.
This exercise allowed me to challenge my journalistic skills of talking to random people on the street aswell as experiment with various styles of photography and composition.
Editing was done by Matt Lee with music from Mogwai - 'Stanley Kubrick'
