From my site: http://www.lookgreat-loseweight-savemoney.com/
This video shows you how to highlight your hair with bleach. Please be sure to watch all three videos before trying it!

Of course, you'll get more tips just by investing a very small amount of money in my hair color guide:

  • So I just started highlighting with a cap.. I actually just used Frost and Glow. I love it! I love your videos SO helpful. MY question is that I used the Frost and Glow for brown which gave me honey highlights.. I want some added blonde blonde for a subtle change but my hair is naturally redish brown, I want real blonde highlights that won't get brassy. Any ideas? I've yet to start mixing color SO nervous! LOL I wish you lived in Oregon 80)

  • @AndreaSchoonover Wow, I have a friend with the last name of Schoonover! Small world! Sweetheart, I would really love to 'see' your hair to suggest something. You could try a very blonde color (highest level you can find) and do some strand tests before you try and pull your hair through a cap. If it doesn't give you the lift you need, you may have to use bleach. If it lifts too light, you can use a toner afterward to tone it down to the blonde color you want. Hope this helps? XO Carolyn

  • I am not a cosmetologist, but have been coloring and bleaching my hair for years. I have been afraid to highlight my hair ,but after watching your vid, I think I have the confidence to pull it off. Thanks for your help!

  • @splattergirl72 So glad it helped you! XO Carolyn

  • @nwilson397 The foil method is just too hard to do by yourself. Using a cap is much easier to do on yourself. XO

  • I have hair a lil longer than yours...Im debating on using cap or doing a foil method...I dont want anything too drastic or chunky but something subtle around the face and crown. Can I use the cap with my long hair? I dont mind trying to master the foild method w weaving but it does seem much more complex and time consuming...

  • @6526587 I'd recommend parting your hair in the same place every time before you put the cap on and remember which holes you pulled the hair through and I think you'll get a pretty consistent result. (my mom has pulled her hair through a cap for years, I've only had it done once when I was little ahaha)
