Kayak Fishing - River Report

Made the drive down South to hit up my favorite place to fish (The Mighty Mississippi). Water conditions made fishing horrible. Still..when it was all said and done I was able to land a few fish and had another great time on the kayak

what kind of rod are you using?? I'm in the search for a new spinning rod and I like split-end rods. P.S. kayak fishing looks like a blast.

Kayak fishing is a blast! I don't think i could ever go back to just fishing from shore. I actually prefer it so much more than being on a boat. The two rods with the split grip. One was a St. Croix Mojo Drop shot rod. Not too expensive and great action. The black one was a Grandt Rod I specially ordered. Again, not too expensive with great action! Hope this helps

Great video John, it was just like I was fishing with you . Audio on videos are a good feature to have making video's . I misplaced my Audio recorder I just bought for $70

Actually, it's pretty simple. I've seen a lot of crazy set ups some confuse the heck out of me. I'll put up a video showing some pretty inexpensive and simple ways in the next week.
