On December 13th, a huge wind storm ripped through the region with hurricane force winds. Environment Canada had issued a wind warning but i don't think anyone was expecting the wind to blow as hard as it did and to leave the path of destruction it did.

  • @gcstorm1 It was a crazy night. You only showed a tiny bit of the damage. Down on the football field, the wind was so strong, it broke the metal field goal posts right off.

  • @eyeamCdn i've now heard that some were clocked at 150 km

  • @myerss2010 i've uploaded a video from the berwick area that i shot today.

  • @mrdsmusic i was out to berwick today and have uploaded another video.

  • @gcstorm1 You would be better off comming down this way monday night tuesday if work does not tie you up, the Northeasterly winds on Cape sable Island are notorious for being over 120 km/h durning sub 970 mb Lows. Mondays low could end up around 955-960 mb when all is said and done !
