On Thursday morning, Congressman Steve Womack paid tribute to life cut short of Lowell Chief of Police Joe Landers who died Friday morning, May 4, as a result of injuries suffered in hit-and-run, drunk driver accident while on vacation in Florida on April 27.
Our state and nation has lost a valued member of the law enforcement community. I speak for Arkansas' Third District in expressing our deepest sympathy to his family, the City of Lowell, and the great state of Arkansas.
