A tribute video to Bo Carter, this is not his best recorded song, the quality is by no means good. But an arrogant if not hubristic song about himself is just too great to ignore, and goes to show you how big a character he was to record somthing like this, shear brilliance.

  • Thanks for posting blues(form a 25 yo from Puerto Rico) love them

  • im from bolton mississippi and i heard that they may have been half brothers and it was walter vinson not vincson i always see his name misspelled not trying be arrogant or anything.

  • Im from bolton missisippi where they were from and i have heard that charlie patton andbo carter may have been half brothers and the chatmons had a brother named larry who was also a musician who played with the family for a little while.

  • Im pretty sure it was not directly related; perhaps cousins. Armenter "Bo Carter" Chatmon was a member of the Chatmon family, and was brother to both Sam Chatmon & Lonnie Chatmon. Check out the Mississippi Sheiks to hear some of Lonnie Chatmon's blues fiddle along with Walter Vincson's Guitar and Vocal.

  • i have an album of this guy,il post the link unless u guys already have it..

Bo Carter- Twist It Babe (1931-1940)

  • Wasn't Bo Carter related to Charlie Patton?

  • Most people just know him for is bawdy songs but hes was much more than a novelty singer, thanks for this!

  • hell yeah!!

  • That picture of Bo in the beginning is more than enough evidence that Charlie Patton was a half brother of the Chatmons.
