Ok so I started like you show, but i want to be going in a fashion that works around the piece not in rows. Not sure how to do this.

@rmpbklyn The US double crochet is the same as what is called a treble stitch in the UK.

this is double, it's not treble.
but since he doing double and title says double, only the video is wrong,.i guess a retaping is not going to be done

How do you go from the started lines to the point where you start boxing around? I started this way and then started going around that rectangle to make a blanket and it looks funny. Any help would be much appreciated.
