2011 MacBook Air, 2 days old, White Screen Of Death during Boot Camp

After getting my MacBook Air, I wanted to try out Boot Camp to see how it works. During the process, specifically during partitioning, the Air shutdown unexpectedly and then would not come back online. I'm left with this White/Grey screen of death. Can't boot to disk utility or anything. Going to the Apple store tonight. We shall see. I guess this is what I get for trying to install Windoze in a non VM on my Mac.

Just a followup. Took the Air to the Apple Store and the tech replaced my Air with a brand new one, no questions asked. Said the HD probably went bad. I'm skeptical and think it was just a partition issue during boot camp partitioning. New Air is working well, just using VM, no bootcamp.

Just happened to my macbook air. LAst night I left it running some apps and then closed the screen to put it to sleep. Battery wore out and this morning I opened it, start usig it for a bit and then everything froze. After restart I get the BONG sound and grey screen of death. I read somewhere else that this may be due to corrupt startup disk and the Macbook AIR firmware gets stuck only looking at local HD instead of also checking peripherals (like the usb key that comes with the air).
