My DS broke entirely in half. Then I gave it to my sister.

In fifth grade my brother had left his week-old DS on the staircase ledge for about an hour. When he picked it, up his fingers slipped and dropped that thing down all 14 steps. The only damage was a broken hinge, but regardless it was scary watching you're new toy violently bounce off of every stair step.

His cries from that incident still haunt me today.

My first DS Lite just died when I was 12 or so.

My second DS Lite's top screen now shows nothing but a black streak across a white background.

My third DS Lite's R button doesn't work quite right and its top screen is...weird.

My fourth DS Lite snapped in half.

My 3DS works perfectly. :)

Mine broke while i was playing Pokemon. I accidently dropped it and it hit the bottom of my chair. I opened it in a frenzy and looked at the top screen. I thought it was fine, intil i looked at the bottom screen. Big black hole. Never cried so much in my life.
