For those of you asking what this song is about, it's a WWF/WWE superstar Chris Benoit. He killed himself, his son, and his wife. The guy who pops up at 0:37 is Chris Benoit. When they keep saying "The Crippler", they're referring to Chris Benoit and his submission hold, The Sharpshooter.

Uh...you're right about the song being about someone who appears to be sane suddenly snapping...but saying that the song has nothing to do with Chris Benoit makes no sense.

Other than the fact that the song is named after him, it features images of him, references him (The pegasis kid logo on hammer dude's belt), and in certain scenes they are standing in a custom made wrestling ring.
