Eventhough I did not agreed with George W. Bush domestic spending policy. I do have to respect the man for protecting the U.S. since Sept.11, 2001. By the way, I wager $20 with an Obama supporter that the U.S. will be attack during Obama's term. Anybody want to join me on the "pool"?

bowing doesnt mean shit in their culture, and it especially doesnt mean shit to Obama or our government, we know we can crush saudi arabia in a second and they know it too, and theyve burned bridges with most of their other allies.

and there was nothing wrong with what bush did here, merkel overreacted

You are the kind of people this country could do without. You have the gull to talk that trash to someone and you don't even realize the wool has been pulled over your eyes. The previous administration hated this country and that is why they have bankrupted it and tried to erradicate the middle class at the same time. Don't you realize we have more in common than we have differences? Pull your head out of your arse and see that we should be standing together. Don't devide unite. No party.

hahaha....
bowing, as a sign of respect, to a foreign leader which america is trying to improve relations with is different to giving a foreign leader a sensual massage lol. Bush was inappropriate and had no clue what he was doing...i dont see the big deal with the bow...it might surprise americans to find out your not better than everyone else, you can show respect to other people, especially those who would be advantagous to be friendly with.

I as an American totally agree. We were all created equal. The truth about Bush and his episode is that there really was nothing wrong with it. However, I must contradict myself by saying it was obviously not taken well by Pres. Merkel. Did you see the way she cringed? Had she just smiled and let it go it would have truly been okay. I didn't see the figure head Obama bowed to take any kind of offense to his bowing. We should all treat each other with that kind of respect.
