Testing the usefulness of charlieplexing. A multiplexing technique for pin constrained devices. I'm using a tiny13 and 5 pins to control 14 LEDs but you can control N * (N-1) LEDs (or 5*(4)=20 for 5 pins).

Next step will be to test POV stef for fun.

  • "integrated approach is" ... not sure I understand the question. This is a mockup of a controller project I am working on. The LEDs are used to show what state the system is in as well as different levels. This was just to demonstrate I had full control of each LED. The SMD circuit you see I milled is the same circuit

  • Dude sweet design. I just made one with 6leds and 3pins with the attiny13. I will probrally expand it later to use all of the io pins. Ha You could use the /reset pin too but you could only program it once. so with 6pins you could have 30 leds!!!!!!!! You have to use small 3mm leds or smd leds because of that many outputs using a lot of current. I'd love to see a POV circuit for charlie plexing. I've been trying to port Ladyadas miniPOV to a mega164 but no luck so far

  • qe integrado es??
