The real facts about oil comsumption, the economy and taxes

This video will tell you how oil is priced, where the US imports it from and how the world oil comsumption and economy is changing. This is the kind of information that should be researched and presented by the media. Not even CNBC or FBC has presented anything in this detail. Bone Pickens effort is admirable, but he even exaggerates the numbers on imported oil. If the media would do a little more in depth investigating instead or repeating, maybe the fight would be a little different.

This is crap. The tax is to LOW on oil. considering that cars produce cancerous pollution, and the fact that peak oil is near, it is more sensible to get people off oil. The tax should be HIGHER

A little biased - obviously you dont like Democrats. But trying to square a fact. If T.Boone says we import 70% of our oil and you say the US is producing 54%, what accounts for the difference? Someone is telling the truth.
