  • @gameproartist207 Considering he didn't exist when at the time when this game was made, I doubt it.

  • high school, college or what not, watching cartoons and playing vid games (like DKC1,2 or 3) does not make a person any less of a "mature" individual. "we don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." =)

  • he does voice his opinion dosent he?

  • Reason why I think people accuse cartoons of being only for kids is because most cartoons don't tend to follow a realistic art style and therfore people believe that realistic, mature subjects cannot be explored in something with that style when the reality is that you don't NEED something to look realisitc to make it mature and follow reality.

  • is it possible to charge the enguarde attack in this sequel?

  • I've been playing cartoony games and watching cartoons for my whole life. Nice to see others feel the same way.

  • finally someone who realizes the pokemon games can be enjoyed by all :D im graduated from high school and i still play the games :)

  • Cartoons: Why are the main characters parents always retarded or superheroes?

Trust me they are retarded or heroic dumbasses.. go check it out..

i draw "cartoons" and make a living so it is not for kids, that would be child labour.

  • The thing that separates vidya like Mario and Donkey Kong from the likes of Dora the Explorer is that there are actual elements of it that are mature. In Dora the Explorer, you do not burn to death in a pit of lava; Even if it's just a cartoon death, the general concept is still the same. Mario's fucking skin melted away. It's what made me shy away from castles as a kid, after all. (I avoided them if I could in SMW). Same goes for Donkey Kong. Burning oil drums and pollution =/= swiper.

  • I tell you what, I've had a much more mature brand of fun with Mario games than I;ve ever had playing an FPS game. Mario games are just pure, genuine fun while an M rated gorefest is more of a visceral guilty pleasure. At the end of the day, mature fun is something you can genuinely enjoy with no strings attached.

  • I actually love your viewpoint, you just took all my viewpoints of how cartoons, animation and video games. I actually ignored the taunts in high school an middle school, where you had to "hide" your love for Pokemon (using that as my example cause I still enjoy it) an now that I'm in college it's just whatever.

  • The first game that comes to my mind when it comes to what a lot of people think is kiddy is Spyro, for the PlayStation. A lot of people, if given the choice, would pick something like Metal Gear Solid or the original Medal of Honor over Spyro the Dragon or Crash Bandicoot because they think that their friends will call them, "Not mature." I still love the original Spyro series, I'm 14, and no one can stop my love for games I grew up with.
