A video guided tour of my entertainment center, featuring a dual tuner satt receiver, a Mattel Intellivision, an original NES and NES 2 (Top Loader), a SNES and SNES Mini, a Nintendo 64, two GameCubes (in both Lan and GameBoy Player Connectivity modes), and a Wii. Also features two 13" TVs and a 27" LCD TV. Not really shown is the VCR, 5-Disk DVD/Surround Sound system and my PC (the LCD TV is also my computer monitor).

  • what, no panasonic q?

  • Actually, I've since gotten one. Three Game Cubes + Panasonic Q. All four are connected to the big TV via Component. Two of the cubes are connected to the smaller TVs and the other is connected to a mobile monitor.

All four systems have Broadband Adapters and Game Boy Players. This allows for 16 Player Mario Kart: Double Dash or Four Player GBA games.

The four systems can be connected to the Wii for Connectivity titles like Four Swords Adventures. Need another TV/Monitor for that though.

  • dual screen viewing doesnt look as cool when the 2 side tvs are tube tvs

  • Yeah, but I'm poor. ;)

Seriously, I wouldn't actually have designed this three TV set-up if I didn't have the 13" TVs lying around. Even if I did replace them with Flat Panels, I'd probably still come up with some crazy-ass way of working them in, ending up with five TVs total. ;)

  • nice..check out my set up

  • cool collection!!

  • Dude, very nice setup. If I get rich enough, I might transform my basement into an entertainment center or an in-home theater.

  • damn I want a setup like that :P too bad my only old tv broke down, can't play duckhunt now :(

  • Sounds like a great setup! I'm looking into the broadband adapters for my q and gamecube to play double dash. Trying to find a couple cheap isn't easy.

  • wow you have every nintendo console ever made. cool

  • why three tv's?

  • best part: 4 wavebird controllers for the gamecube. I only have one, and have a hard time fining them cheap
