@2120BRYAN They are fairly soft and dull, and the only issue you should have is getting some snakes to take them. Then on the flipside, there are snakes that will only take them.

hey al, probably asked before but watching many of your videos and watching them eat chicks, how does the beak not harmful or is it softer because it is a chick

I saw some of your scary videos in which the gabon Viper strikes, how do you know when you are in striking range of the snake? I can't see where you stand but I have the impression that you stand direct in front of the open door of the cage, so possibly in striking range of the snake, but apprently you are save! How far do you stand from the open door of the cage?

@Wingedzephir 2 feet from cages is where I normally stand.

Love your vids Viperkeeper. Was wondering why you couldn't show those live kills?

@xcxdxd82 Because I don't like to have people watch the rodent die, stirs up the PETA types.

Those coloratus saw scales were eating eagerly, I thought they were the hardest to get to feed on their own. Can you pass on any tips with the husbandry of this species in particular?

@rattlingtotheend I've had them for a long time, that's why they eat. Takes time and many live feeds before they will take PK or FT
