  • This tv series came up late in Eastern Europe and I as a 4 year old, would only stay up late to watch it, and my mother had to watch it also for reading the subtitles. The music and the dim image quality of this series rests forever in my memory as it haunted me even till today. I was brave enough to watch it, and the images told me most of the story as my mum would fall asleep at late hours.

  • Thanks for the comment!

I didn't discover this series until recently myself, but I love the style of the intro and the whole series... It felt nostalgic and dreamy although I had never seen it! And the plot and characters - much better than the more modern mafia-themed TV series that glorify violence and psychopaths.

  • It's not of Ennio Morricone.

  • What is "musiche composte e dirette da ENNIO MORRICONE" in English?

In Original first few episodes, music composer was Riz Ortolani.

    Morricone came later.

  • All of my friends (me included) cried when Corrado Cattani was shot. One of the saddest memories of my childhood

  • in the real world the cattanis will not be able to exist because there would be like the good guys fighting the other good guys. in real life there are no good guys or bad guys, theres just the system against everything else that tries to interfere with its fuunctioning. the purpouse of the justice system is to keep undesirables in line with the system

  • the problem with the film is its moralism. it seems the directors in typical italian fashion try to stubbornly divorce themselves from realism. the greatest joke of this film is how justicia "justice" is contrasted and confronted by potere "power". in reality the oppoiste is true. justice is only a function of power. justice exists only if power allows it too. in other words there is justice for the powerfull and insutice for the weak. in this sense tano is more realistic then catani

  • Can you tell me the name of a morricone's song which plays in the following videos: "Re: AMAN - O.T.E P@ntelis" or "AMAN - kleidaras 2" here in youtube?I'm looking for it for a long time and I can't find it.If you know the name of the song please let me know...

  • Morriconne FTW
