Forever and Always?-A Jaylor Story ch. 8

*Taylor and Robert are driving back after the lunch with his parents*

Rob-Taylor, are you doing anything tomorrow?
Taylor-Um, no.
Rob-Would you like to come with me to dinner?
Taylor-Alright. Um, 7?
Rob-Wonderful!

*Meanwhile, Joe is with Demi at Disneyland*

Joe-So, we're here.
Demi-Yep! What first?
Joe-I don't know.
Demi-How about Space Mountain?? I love that ride!!
Joe-(sigh) Sure.
Demi-...Come on Joe. I'm really sorry.
Joe-Sorry doesn't cut it Demi! You really broke my heart!
Demi-Yah, but...I wanna make it up to you. Can we be...friends?
Joe-JUST friends?
Demi-Um, yah?
Joe-Well...maybe, I guess so. It's gonna be hard though.
Demi-I know. So, Space Mountain?
Joe-Alright. It IS my favorite ride... *I don't know if it's really his favorite ride*
Demi-And, tomorrow, wanna go to dinner?
Joe-Sure.

*The next night, Rob and Taylor are at the resturant, ordering. Robert sees Joe and Demi walk in, and Demi sees Robert and Taylor, but Joe and Taylor don't. Joe starts walking there way (he doesn't know still)*

Joe-How about we sit over here?
Demi-Um, what about over HERE? You know, window seats are the best!
Joe-Um...Ok, I guess. I have to go to the restroom, be right back.

Taylor(still doesn't know!!)-Excuse me, I have to go the bathroom.
*Robert sees Joe going in the same direction as Taylor*
Rob-Um, wait!
Taylor-Why?
Rob-Because...Your food might be cold when you come back!
Taylor-It won't take that long! It'll take just a couple minutes!

*Taylor walks over to the restroom, and sees Joe*

Joe-Taylor?
Taylor-Joe! Hey! What are you doing here?!
Joe-Just eating dinner with D-my friend...
Taylor-Yah, um, me too.
Joe-Wanna get together soon?
Taylor-Of course! When?
Joe-I'm free tomorrow!
Taylor-Oh, I'm not. I'm going with my friend to the movies. What about Sunday?
Joe-No, I have plans with my friends.
Taylor-Our friends are really keeping us busy...
Joe-Yah. Um, but call me!
Taylor-Yah!

*The next week, Joe keeps calling Taylor, but she won't answer (hmm...something like what happened to Taylor in ch. 1??). Finally, she does*

Taylor-Hello?
Joe-Taylor! I can't believe you actually answered this time!
Taylor-I haven't talked to you in such a long time! So, what's up?
Joe-Same, still busy. You?
Taylor-Same.
Joe-Oh. Well, I'll talk to you later then.
Taylor-Yah, bye.
Joe-Bye.

*He sits down on the couch and turns on the tv. Nick walks in the room*

Nick-Hey man, what's up?
Joe-Nothing.
Nick-Wanna see a movie today?
Joe-Can't. Goin' out with Demi to the movies.
Nick-Demi? AGAIN? Dude, didn't she break your heart? Whatever happened to Taylor? I thought you were getting back with her?
Joe-Well...
Nick-Dude, tell me the truth on this-do you miss Taylor?
Joe-Yes.
Nick-Do you like hanging out with Demi 24/7 and never seeing Taylor?
Joe-No.
Nick-Are you going to do something about it?
Joe-No.
Nick-Dude...
Joe-(sigh) I'm gonna try?
Nick-Do or do not, there is no try. You love Taylor, and you aren't spending any time with her.
Joe-You know what? You're right! *Joe stands up* I'm gonna go talk to Taylor and spend some time with her!
Nick-That's it man!! GO DO IT!!!

*Joe runs out the door towards Taylor's house. He gets there, out of breath, and rings the doorbell*

Taylor-Um, Joe?
Joe-Yah (pant), I have to (pant) talk to you.
Taylor-Come on in.
Joe-Taylor, we need to spend some time together. I miss you.
Taylor-I miss you too Joe. But, we're just so busy! What can we do?
Joe-We can cancel some plans and make some new ones...with each other.
Taylor-I guess. Um, should we do it now?
Joe-That's what she said! Sorry, sorry, (laughs). Um, if you want to.
Taylor-Okay.

*Taylor gets on the phone and dials Robert's number*

Robert-Hello Taylor?
Taylor-Um, hi. I have a question.
Robert-Yes?
Taylor-Well, can we cancel our plans together for the next couple of days?
Robert-I suppose...why?
Taylor-Because...I want to spend time with my family, and just relax at home for a couple of days.
Robert-Oh. Well, goodbye then.
Taylor-Bye.
*Taylor hangs up and turns to Joe*
Taylor-I'm free!
Joe-My turn

*Joe's conversation with Demi goes the same way, and Joe and Taylor go to her bedroom*

Joe-Taylor, I want to tell you something.
Taylor-Sure.
Joe-(sigh) I really miss you when you leave, and I love you.
Taylor-I love you too, and I really mean that.
Joe-Me too.
Taylor-Can you sleep over tonight?
Joe-Of course!

*Taylor kisses Joe on the cheek*
