United College Action Network (U-CAN) founded in 1988 by Alan and Donna Rowe is a California 501© Nonprofit that provides leadership and assistance to students desiring to enroll in a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).

Since 1988, U-CAN has provided services to more than 39,000 students. More than 12,000 of these students subsequently gained admission to a Historically Black College or University. U-CAN has generated over $39,500,000 in scholarship monies for students who received U-CAN services. U-CAN has an impressive twenty-three year track record that has created successful educational support, outreach, mentoring services, and programs throughout California with plans to expand these efforts nationwide.

U-CAN maintains an intimate and very credible relationship with school districts as well as University and College Presidents, Admissions Officers, Financial Aid and Administrative Officers and has been a significant factor in assisting students to gain admissions and scholarships to HBCUs.
