Li Liu was born in Shenyang, China and started training as an acrobat at the age of six. She toured all over with world with The Liao Ning Acrobatic Troupe and was a featured performer at the prestigious Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris. She came to the US in 2000 to star with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus and has been living and performing free-lance in the US since 2003.
