Thanks for the tip! I couldn't get anything from my Tascam Dr-05 to load, not even after moving it to iTunes. It's in Garage Band now...

I don't get the little drop down menu you got there to choose "save as" so I'm back to square one. What a pain. I so hate Macs, but I'm stuck with this until I can get something more user friendly. :(

Do you know how to upload compactflash (sandisk) file to garageband? Im quite new to iMac and I have a pulse media drive that goes into the usb port on my iMac but I can't find the usb info to select the file to be uploaded?? If you could help that would be greatly appreciated lola

You Couldve right clicked, Went to get info, And Change The Extension To .MOV . That Might Be More Simple.
