December 2010 - After 58 years and due only to pressure from investigations and groups like ours, media reports and the voices of volunteers who have spoken out against the monumental medical negligence suffered by patients at the hands of the men and women who run this organization, The "Missionaries of Charity" have finally agreed to "renovate" the Home of The Dying building located in the neighborhood of Kalighat in Kolkata, India.

According to one of the nuns present at the time of my visit, the renovation should be done in couple of months or so, but no word on what kind of modern and necessary medical equipment will be installed in the building.

All patients have been transferred to Prendam, another notorious facility operated by the organization, where close to 400 men and women with a range of illnesses are looked after in equally dismal conditions and rudimentary equipment by nuns and volunteers with minimal or no medical training.

Where are the millions of dollars you receive in donation each year "Missionaries of Charity"? and how exactly are you using them?

They do exactly the opposite of that what they preach. And actually, the Christian Church never cared about the people or their misery, all they care is to achieve their goals ... humanity of Christians? Only on paper ....

All the place needs is to be fixed up and properly outfitted with equipment etc...common italian mobsters who contribute millions to the church...DO SOMETHING!
