This is a small robot built from the parts in the basic Minstorms NXT Education set.
It solves a couple of missions which require a minimum of programming and no sensors.
This is a good way to start out with the First LEGO League challenge of 2011.
FLL 2011 Food Factor missions, rules and info: http://firstlegoleague.org/challenge/2011foodfactor

Missions being solved in this video:
- Half of Pollution Reversal: 4 points.
- Fishing 3 x 3 points (Only given once the small fish is back)
- Disinfect: 12 points for one dispenser.
- Good bacteria: 6 points pr. yellow bacteria in base :-P

  • Good job! I'm doing my competition today, and we basically had the same thing. The only difference was that we conserved time by doing it in only two missions.

  • @TheCalebdude13 I'm glad to hear you have found a faster way to do the missions. Not all teams get that far. Good luch with the competition.

  • The points u got for the bacteria don't count because the rules said that the bacteria can NOT touch the mat

  • @MrEyetoeye No. I have added a link to the description because of repeated comments like this. Regarding the bacteria:

"One or more bacterium on the mat outside Base reduces the value of all empty dispensers from 12 points to 7 points. Color's not mentioned, so color's not a factor. The bacteria are only colored to help the field resetters avoid counting."

  • @MrEyetoeye Where have you read that? I can recomment reading the rules again in case of doubt.

  • Doing it tommorow @ nait

  • @maxerik9901 you should read up on the instructions before you come on here and comment, the baby fish doesn't have to be perfect it just has to touch it's mark.

  • Elegant in its simplicity. Nicely done! And you're changing attachments one-handed because you're holding the camera with the other hand! Impressive!

  • @rialblabla wtf........

  • wow u gay pepole suck my ass ass lickers LOLOLOLOLOOL FU FUFUFUFUFUFUF LOLOLOLOLOLO TROLOLOLOLOLOLOL LAMFO LOLOLOLOOLOL IM FROM AFGHANISTAN

  • I like the video but it was lengthy, 1 minute 30 for 21 points. Go to Wissahickon Thunder regional qualifier, we get fish blue ball and green bacteria in the first 10 seconds and we put the baby fish on its mark later on in the match

  • @LasseDeleuran hey i did my fll competetion a few weeks ago... our team robot was called fred and we got 1st place robot design it was the begginer robot from the education edition nxt

  • Great job, I have only 1 question: how long does it take you to step up the program? We used a similar idea to yours; get the fish out of the way, then go to the sink; then put the fish back. It looks from the video as though more than half the time is used up setting up. Overall, great robot and program!

  • Competition is this Saturday for the team I help coach, we have managed to catch the rat, deliver 1 virus and 1 bacteria to the sink, trigger 2 of the bacteria holding assemblies and end on the wall, and put the groceries on the table.
