what about the me-262 and komet and meteor alot more planes are faster then spitfire even though spitfire was a piston engine

Taylor and Welch in P40s shot down 8 planes during the Pearl Harbor raid, including Zeros. The Japs were lucky more P40s didn't get into the air. Big screw up by Gen Short, who got fired.

@sarasein P40 can aim and shoot those zeroes easily during chasing because it's U.S. movie. in U.S. movies, U.S.ers are capable of everthing. both rafe and danny were chased by 3 zeros each and the japs were magicaly unable to shoot them down.

Zero will out turn P40 in low altitude. No WW2 plane can out turn Zero. Zero is highly maneuverable. How can P40 can aim and shoot those zeroes easily during chasing? I only know US is good at Boom and Zoom and Thatch Wave to win the air battle. not Dog fight.

@helljumpr5150 true, Only spitfire can outturn Zero in high speed.Spitfire is the best. Guys, atleast try some simulators such as IL2 1946 Stumorvik then you get the picture. Maybe your say oh yeah game not true, but atleast you get the knowledge. Now its useless to debate,because some these American homeboy got no idea what is outturn
