If there is something you didn't hear/understand, use this column for reference. Just use the video as reference to this to see what you must do:
5x5x5 notes: If you know how to solve a 4x4x4, then you can easily learn how to solve this. There is only one more algorithm, but it's a simple pattern that is incredibly easy to memorize.
Solving the green center: Like a 4x4x4, solve the centers first, except instead of matching squares individually, match 3 lines together using logic. The 3 lines go together to make a 3x3 center.
Blue center: Like a 4x4x4, except again, use logic to make 3 lines match together. Use the algorithm from last time from solving the 4x4x4, except you may need to twist the upper layer in directions you need to get those three lines matching. Remember, when you finish a sequence, the green center must be back where it is.
Red center: Do exactly what you did with the green center before except make sure not to mess up the green or blue centers. Get the 3 lines together. Easy if you did the green center with no trouble.
White center: Same thing as red, but you need to make sure once you match something you want, you fix the red center back where it was.
Other 2 centers: Use pure logic to figure out how to get the other two (in this case, orange and yellow) centers. Again, make sure after you get what you want, fix the white and red centers back where they were.
Solving the sides: A LOT like a 4x4x4, except you can line the side cubelets up however you like to solve them. There are 2 cases:
1: The side of three cubelets has the middle of the 3 switched. Use the LONG ALGORITHM from solving a 4x4x4 on where the problem is. You should have it down pat if you can solve a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube.
2: I cannot put this situation in words, but once you see the situation, learn this pattern: D*, 2B. Perform it five times, and finish the sides using logic.
You're done! Solve it like a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, and you are finished! (Look, it's entirely better if you match this column with the video if you didn't understand) You have solved the most impossible challenge in reality! (sorta) Hope you enjoyed it! Subscribe and watch my next video!

the D* 2B doesnt work. ive done it about a million times and it just rescrambles the edges. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!!

Okay, I told you to do it 5 times. It does rescramble edges, but you need to use logic to figure out how to line up the last 3 sets of edges. Make sure that you know D* means turning the down side clockwise, the bottom 2 wedges. 2B means only the far wedge in the back, and rotate it twice.
It does work, if not ur cube is messed up.
