Colorado, once a firmly Republican state, is now seeing its status shift into a swing state for the first time.

For decades, the largely white and conservative population kept the western state firmly red.

Now though, as a more ethnically diverse, younger and increasingly liberal demographic makes gains, the state is in play for both parties.

Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports from Colorado Springs.

Here we go with the fake white victimhood.

If Republicans ever put out policies that attracted People of Color, instead of insulting and scapegoating them with their use of the "Southern Strategy", we might be having a rational conservation.

There is a reason why Republican politician Lindsay Graham admitted that his party will be having problems in the future due to "less angry white guys."

That's the first time I've heard a comment like this and I thought it was very well thought out and accurate.

It of course, implies that a lot of youth who are liberal voters today will become conservatives once they're tired of their crazy lifestyles.

That lady who had the abortion is typical middle class conservative hypocrisy. I guarantee when she was younger she was an absolute terror, doing all kinds of crazy sh*t. Now that she's older and presumably settled down she wants to demonize people who are doing EXACTLY what she did. Her morality changes to fit her lifestyle, which is no morality at all. Under the right circumstances (like a divorce) she'd do the same stuff again. I meet people like this all the time.

Unfortunately for you, there is both video and police reports on their actions that confirm my statements.

Stupid reality with it's liberal bias, I know.

I wouldn't care about Neo Nazis at a polling place. Because I'm not some scared, ignorant fuck that thinks they shouldn't be voting because I disagree with them.

I was speaking out against the racist tactics from the Republican party.

Its funny that you equate racism with white people. I wouldn't even go that for. Interesting that you would actually admit that.

There were dozens of Republican led legislations passed targeting "in person voter fraud" (which doesn't exists) which disproportionately disenfranchise People of Color; as well as the "purging" of legal voters from the voter rolls. All of these suppression tactics leading to millions of voters possibly being disenfranchised.

And you are comparing all of that to a manufactured "controversy" of several "scary black people" possibly making some white voters uncomfortable?

    Really?

This is a microchasm of what all of America will be in a decade or so. The GOP needs to change its ways.
