After reading the excellent tutorial located at http://secretoptionf.wordpress.com/2009/11/08/make-your-pwn-custom-weapons-in..., I decided to make my own hacked weapon. The result of this is a little thing I call the "AWESOMELAUNCHER".
It originally started out as a Direct Hit that was stronger, faster, and had the same splash damage as the original launcher. After some tinkering, I made something much, much more dangerous.
The effects are as follows:
+100% Damage Done (twice as much as regular RL)
On Hit: +200 Health
Always Crits Against Burning Players
On Kill: 10 Seconds of Unlimited Crits
+100% Projectile Speed (twice as much as regular RL)
Minicrits airborne targets
-75% splash damage from rocket jumps (doesn't seem to work correctly, as far as I can tell. Maybe it's the gunboats.)
0% explosion radius (same radius as RL)
+255 max health on user (455 health in all. The game dosn't normally store that much health, so it literally laps over and fills another health bar when overhealed.)
Basically, once the user gets a single kill, he's moreorless unstoppable unless he slips up or gets a reflected rocket from the pyro (which gives the pyro ten seconds of crits oddly, probably heals him too)
Also on an unrelated note, you can hear my replaced sounds here from Sonic games. The Domination sound is replaced with a Chaos Emerald, the Revenge sound is the Continue/Results music from Sonic 3, and the Nemesis sound (unheard in this video) is the beginning of Death Egg Zone from Sonic 2. Round win is the Ending of Sonic & Knuckles, and Round lost (unheard) is the Game Over music from Sonic 2.
Also Problem Sleuth spray. Yes.
The link is broken. Can you teach me through PM?
