Kentucky will start backup QB Mike Hartline who lost his job with poor performace. He gets his job back after starting quarterback Randall Cobb went under the knife with a knee surgery and was lost for the bowl game. East Carolina has wins over bowl bound West Virginia and Virginia Tech on the season. They have good balance on offense and give up only an average of 20 points per game. You cant back Kentucky in this game. Take East Carolina 2 ½.

Neither team was a chump team. And to say that a 16-3 score at half is a blowout bares ignorance. And by that theory UK "blew-out" ECU 22-3 in the second half with "cheap" TD's. Stupid.

Both teams were about equal in play, C-USA's best is indeed about equal to a middle of the run SEC team and it showed. Nonetheless it was a good game and fun to watch.

MSMFD1 ...Kentucky was to much for this chump team. What the fuck game were you watching? East Carolina was beating the shit out of Kentucky the whole game. I almost turned the game off at halftime because I thought it was going to be a blow out it was like 17-3 or 19-3. I can't remember but one of the two scores at half. Then Kentucky got some cheap touchdowns in the end to come back. You guys pulled that win out of your ass. It was a upset big time. Kentucky was the chump team actually.
