Yes they would need replacing for Automap control and settings would need transferring. You will need the Automap version of a plugin present for your DAW to find the plugin required in that instance of the plugin.

Hi. Does that mean i will have to replace the "plugs" with "plugs [automap]" for older sessions? What if i want to open a session in a computer without automap? will i lose my plugin configs?
