That being said i can obviously understand the fervor surrounding Kings Road (1990's All Japan Material) but it almost seems like since the grand exodus of AJPW critics have seriously undercut ALOT of fantastic performances in the last decade. There has only been 64 (if my memory serves me) 5 star matches awarded, and a majority of which were in the 90's. I am most certainly NOT clueless of course, the 90's was fabulous for wrestling; but the past decade has been sorrily undercut IMO.

This is a hands down classic, and this is EXACTLY the kind of material really put NOAH on the map in terms of expectation. Now I'm not a professional critic of any kind but i am slightly confused as to how this match DID NOT get a five star rating, and furthermore i must express in honest that it is rather frustrating to see the very obvious favoritism of the Kings Road Era. Now with all due respect i think any puro fan can see how if this had been on AJPW it would have achieved that honour...
