showrunners are those that are both writers and producers of a show.
they run the show.

It's not the WGA's fault that other people can't go on strike. And I don't know what you're complaining about, there are plenty of famous people that spend a LOT of their money on the less fortunate. Those TV shows that everyone loves so much are the writers' creation, and that being said they are entitled to much more than they get.

The writers deserve what they are asking for it's not rocket science. I lost my internship b/c of the strike. But hey thats ok.
