similar to a pneumag but I must admit the two setups feel so different that I can't really pick one over the other. This particular Ion has less moving mass, but I'm using a QEV on it since I want the firing cycle to be quick as to avoid misfiring. It could be made to slow the bolt for anti-chop but it might make chopping easier...yeesh

Wow, I never thought a mech Ion would be that fast. If you've shot a pneumag, how does it compare?
Also, is there a high chance of chop, or can that be adjusted by limiting forward vent like on an SP-1?
