Seems like Henry is trying to get Ottis to admit to all the murders he did before he met him, like Adam Walsh, wich ottis Toole never admited to but was found guilty a few years ago, long after he died through DNA.

This entire conversation is really interesting. Serial Killers don't typically come in "pairs"... Usually they work alone. An odd friendship... I still think they should remove the son of sam act... I don't think they should be glorified, but it is an extremely interesting study.

The bible says that God made man in his image. Elsewhere it says that God is spirit. It is in this way that we are in his image; we have a spirit. But back to these murders, they are so steeped in evil that it's normal way of life to them, and killing these murders is a just penelty for their crimes and they know it.
