Sofa King

Original music video made in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1999. Total time between the concept of the song and the and the final edit of the video was approximately one week. Acclaimed songwriter and guitarist Jim Gideon wrote and recorded the song and appears in the video as one of the 'shadow people'. Television and video producer/director Jason D Jones created and directed the video and played guitar on the song.
Writer and sometimes college professor Scott Swartz wore the crown as Sofa King. Special thanks to the Futon Dictator at Lack's furniture.

Thanks for the reply, I would prefer a caption that reflects the surreal nature of the film. Whatever it was this film should represent, rather than easy laughs for your peers. The film maker "Ben Dover" has a few classics, although the Czechs are cool with this stuff too.

I admit, I was the one to decide on the first frame, as an homage to the phrase that tickled my ADULT friends and myself. NOT the songwriter. (May I add that this video aired in an extremely conservative Baptist town and THEY had no issue with it).
