Blues Alley, just off the square in Holly Springs, MS. Every Thursday evening during the summer, the road it blocked off and people get together to party to the blues. Adam Gussow, harp player and one-man band from Oxford, MS, provides the entertainment on this particular night, playing "You Don't Have to Go" and "Goin' Down South."

Film courtesy of Bryan W. Ward and The Tone Room.

If you'd like to purchase Gussow's solo debut, KICK AND STOMP (which includes a version of "Goin' Down South"), you can find it at iTunes and Amazon mp3s. You can also purchase it direct from the artist via Tradebit:

  • ...die Hochstraße in GE-Buer eignet sich hervorragend !!!

  • OMG guy in the blue shirt again!! Then the other guy love them dancing :3 Everyone else looks bored :(

  • Love the fact that their were people feeling it enough to drop foot... in the audience. Its cool to see you sharing your talent.

  • Outstanding............... but then again I wouldn't expect anything less.

    Great job. Please keep going.

  • got them up on there feet !!

  • Love it man!

  • big inspiration ---keep on the spirit of blues

  • Just fantastic, you can transport the blues to the people.

  • Adam! You just topped my list of inspirational players! I've been following and learning from you for years now and in this video found myself totally sold on the whole package. Your vocals have gotten much richer and more soulful. I'm totally feeling it here and that inspires me to get out "there" more with my vocals. The harmonical is a very vocal instrument and I've hiding behind it for too long now. I'm predicting I'll see you soon and look forward to sharing some grooves.

  • This is great!
