This video demonstrates a combined technique using a permanent catheter and an additional transarterial block technique. The catheter is positioned close to the median nerve using first a transcutaneous and then a standard nerve stimulation technique. The transarterial technique is performed with a 25G cannula and a short extension tube. 20 ml of local anaesthetic is injected behind the artery, 10 ml in front of the artery, and 10 ml via the catheter.
