@MsRidethewind Two of the lesson horses at our riding barn were off the slaughter truck from the amish. One of them has gone on to be a wonderful show horse in Academy and wins almost every class. When we first got him he could hardly walk and now he is steppin high and happy. It's amazing how much they love grow strong with love.

everytime someone talks sh!t to me on youtube saying its unnatural bout saddlebreds and saddle seat i just show them this video or a video of a baby saddle bred out in the pasture alone always proves them wrong :)

I have an Arabian/Saddlebred and i love him. i think they are beautiful horses. just would like to see them trained in a more healthy way, with relaxing the back muscles. you can sit the trot of every horse, when the back is working and not sore. and i don't like the tailmuscles to be cut, so that they can lay their tail on their back. other than the way they were trained and treated beautiful and impressive horses! would love to see them more often in germany.

I owned an American Saddlebred for 9 years that could keep up with any horse out in the jumper ring. When I lost my farm he went to a woman who trained with 4 time Olympic Gold Medalist Joe Fargis. And Joe loved him!!! Just goes to show that they are more than just fancy footwork :)))
