Love it! This and the first-gen Mercedes CLS remain to my mind the two best executions to date of the 4-door coupe concept.

@DocWolph Wagons have a D-pillar. The A7 doesn't, or else it would have more room for cargo. Since the A7 is based on the same platform that pins the A6, check out the A6 Avant. Now that's the wagon you would be looking for if you like a similarly built car.

@DocWolph I like wagons too, but the A7 is not a wagon or a sub-wagon or an almost-wagon, it is a hatchback. These are two different body styles. Google for Renault 20, Citroen CX, Citroen BX, Simca 1307, Saab 9000 hatchback (there was a silly 9000 sedan and a Lancia Thema wagon) or for Oldsmobile Cutlass Hatchback.

@LeadHammer One can argue a hatchback in a wagon with a swooping roof line. I don't disapprove of the A7 design, despite my criticism of it. I personally like wagons in almost whatever form they take.
