Ormesby TTC v Hull TTC Over-50's Challenge Return Match

On Monday July 11th 2011 fifteen over-50's from the Rea Balmford Table Tennis Centre drove up to the Ormesby Table Tennis Centre to challenge the over-50's of Ormesby TTC.
The format for the day was: 2 sessions with 5 groups each session and 3 players from each team in a group. Each player played the 3 opposing players with one double match.
Ormesby TTC provided delicious refreshments.
In the morning the teams picked included a strong, medium and a weak player. In the afternoon the teams were picked with the best 3 players in team 1, the next 3 best players in team 2 etc.
The lead organisers of the 2 clubs should be congratulated for an excellent day out - Brenda Hudson of Hull, Jose Ransome, Brenda Stephenson and Malcolm Muldoon of Ormesby.
Jose Ransome, Ormesby Club President, filled in for Hull after one of their players had left! All part of the friendly day.
