Prize winning design compeition entry for a pavilion structure in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore. The concept is to create a structure that is light and elegant looking. It will be a place for quiet resting and dining, while evoking a sense of peace & tranquility as an antithesis to the urban flurry that surrounds it. This pavilion will exemplify the use of light-weight steel framing to create a structure that appears to defy its own weight, and seemingly looks as if it is floating above the ground. It is an urban manifestation of the ephemeral quality of the city life. Designed by U:phoria Architecture+Design.
Would be nice if the creator of the video gave Ulrich some credit in the description

The work suggests an emphasis on the technocracy of means rather than architectural purpose, so typical of our cad-does-all, media driven age (1990-2010).
Does anyone question the spatial quality of the space in relation to human use and it's interconnectivity with the city as a whole? I don't think so....
