  • Great video, thanks! I've seen videos of using A/C pumps for small air compressors. I thought these pumps needed oil in the gas they pump to be lubricated so they'd fail (soon?) if just used for compressing air?

  • The gas is phosgene gas I was trained as long with all the guys on board the submarines I was on in the US NAVY . IT is deadly gas and we were trained to get to a EAB air on land get to fresh air fast.

  • @DrinkBeer00 All newer units use this gas.  R22 has been discontinued

  • New A/C units all use R410a just in case you are curious.  New units must all be charged with this as R22 has been discontinued.

  • @CalebEatsaBullet for really old cars that used r-12 yes, r134 are different
